Pablo Rubén Maldonado
who is pablo rubén maldonado?
Self-taught in the language of the art of flamenco piano and graduated from the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Granada. He studied with Gloria Emparán, Jose Luis Hidalgo, Enrique Rueda, Luis Megías, Chano Domínguez and Albert Bover.
Considered one of the best pianists of the current flamenco, Granada musician of flamenco roots and gypsy family, where we can find “Antonio Cujón”, founder of the Granada zambra, His musical background has been enriched with other styles such as classical music, jazz, Afro-Caribbean music, Indian, pop, tango, funk or electronic, leading him to create his own language: Flamenco piano without imitating the guitar.
